The College Day program is a partnership between 韦德体育app官网 and the WDA-KCP Initiative. It is designed for pre-college students as an introduction to higher education. Students spend a day visiting 韦德体育app官网 in order to learn about the feasibility of higher education and to meet faculty, 教职员及学生. The program can include many or all of the features below.

Academic and Career Explorations: Academic presentations provided by various professional schools and academic departments at 韦德体育app官网.

Informational 项目: Informational sessions in critical areas such as admissions and financial aid are presented to students.

校园之旅: Program mentors accompany students, familiarizing them with 韦德体育app官网’s campus.

Lunch in Vandenberg Dining Center: This cafeteria-style dining facility offers a wide variety of all-you-can-eat menu options in a comfortable and convenient location.

娱乐al Activities: Amenities include a 50-meter pool, racquetball/squash courts, 体育馆, table tennis and strength/cardiovascular training equipment.

The 住宅项目 provides pre-college students with an introduction to higher education. Students reside overnight in our residence halls to “get a taste of college life.” The residential program can be designed to meet the needs of participating schools. 亮点包括:

Transition to High School 住宅项目

The program is designed as an introduction to high school education for newly entering 9th grade students. Students will reside for three days in our residence halls (dorms) with other transitional 9th grade students to receive guidance on how to make a successful adjustment from middle school to high school.  

Participants will experience a taste of life as a college student. During your stay with us you will be taken on a campus tour led by our program mentors to familiarize you with 韦德体育app官网. In addition, you will receive:

1. academic presentations provided by various professional schools and academic departments
2. informational programs in critical areas such as time management, 学习技巧, 来自同辈的压力, 解决冲突
3. social and recreational activities
